Just another quick, random design I did when feeling a little bored...Originally he started out as more of a fantasy-type character, but somewhere along the way he decided he wanted to be a sci-fi character instead...heh.

Anyway...The green basilisk..."Native to Central American rain forests, this species inhabits riverbanks. The crests on its head, back, and tail are supported by bony spines."

I'm personally a fan of the skinny swords and dissolving sash.

^^ I figured skinnier swords would suit this guy better than regular ones. And the sash was fun to do.

I wonder what he's up to that he'd needs swords, though, in a cyber/sci-fi world? Or maybe (probably) they're not typical swords.

I'm not sure if you ever watched Batman Beyond, but there was an assassin who had a sword that was sharpened pretty much down to the molecular level and could slice through any material. That, and there's always the old-school purists like the Jedi. Someone once described anime to me as "Japanese people wanting to fight with swords again."

I explored the dissolving sash concept once, but in a more Twilight Princess-y fashion. Dug it up here: [link]

I don't think I've watched that...I remember another special sword with an edge so fine it could split light. And of course there are the Jedi, you're right. ^__^
