Oneiroi - Twisted

There was a lot going on in this dream, and admittedly most of it wasn't good. But it was still interesting, all the way up to the end. The character was a scientist, and was part of a group that found a bizarre, only marginally human skeleton encased in clay. When the clay was being carefully removed, there was a moment when the skeleton's face was uncovered, and the character happened to look directly into those empty sockets. There was the sensation of something being suddenly twisted around inside the character's head, from that contact. And that's when things started to go wrong, with progressive blindness countered with heightened, extrasensory awareness, and then of course the creature itself once it was freed from the clay and began to restore its form with the blood of others. It was only due to the strange corruption that this character suffered that he was able to evade it, but at the same time, such a corruption had its own share of downsides.

Since this dream was particularly long and had quite a bit going on, there may end up being a second installment. We will see.
