...ever gotten that feeling?
Something rather silly and random I scribbled out in the last half hour, and I figured I'd post it.
I have no problems with creating fanart for mainstream creations. It certainly gets more attention and is a good way to rise in popularity here, and it's fun to use art to show our appreciation for these characters, creatures, and stories we love. But I also love my OCs, and I love sharing them and their stories. And remember, every smash-hit story protagonist begins life as the OC of their creator!

I felt like this until I started telling my family my stories and characters. They've encouraged me to start to write my stories down properly for the first time. (I know fan art and fanfic does get a lot more recognition, but every mainstream story started out as an OC.)
